• HSC (+2) PASS in any Group if he wants to join CMA Foundation; % of marks will not be considered to get admission into CMA Foundation Level.
• A Graduation of any major (except Fine Arts) is enough to join CMA Intermediate (Direct Entry Scheme) directly; 4 Semesters completed Engineering students and Qualified Engineers irrespective of their marks, are eligible to register for CMA Intermediate with 2 Papers Exemption .
• CA Inter Qualified/CA Qualifed/CS-Executive/CS Qualified may also register for CMA Inter directly without any % of marks.
Rs.6,000/- is the Registration Fees for CMA Foundation with effect from February 2021 and it is valid for 3 years.
Rs.22,000/- is the Registration Fees with effect from February 2021 and it is valid for 7 years.
Rs.25,000/- is the Registration Fees with effect from February 2021 and it is valid for 7 years.
No, not at all! There is NO NEGATIVE MARKS at any Level in CMA Course.
It is always Pen & Paper Mode with Subjective and Objective Type Questions; but, it has no negative marks anywhere in any Paper. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, now the exams are going ONLINE both at Centres and Homes itself with strict observation.

A student whose registration has been cancelled on account of his/her failure to complete the Intermediate and Final examinations within a period of 7 (Seven) years from the date of his/her registration may, if he or she desires, apply for DE NOVO Registration online under Value Added Services in student section of website. DE NOVO Registration is normally granted once only. The second time DE NOVO Registration may be granted if the student has passed at least one Group or earned exemption in at least two subjects.
A candidate shall be declared to have passed in a group of an examination if he secures minimum 40% marks in each paper of the group and an aggregate of 50% of total marks of non-exempted papers of that group
Who appears for both Groups of Intermediate or Final Examination with or without any exemption:
⦁ obtains at least 40 percent marks in each paper appeared; and also
⦁ obtains at least 50 percent marks in aggregate, taking both the Groups together shall be declared to have qualified Intermediate Course or Final Course, as the case may be.
⦁ After passing of Final course and completion of Modular Training & Practical Training as provided under the regulations.
⦁ Initially one is admitted as an Associate Member and can use the descriptive title “ACMA” after his/her name to indicate that he/ she is an Associate Member of the Institute.
⦁ After fulfilling prescribed criteria, an ACMA can become a Fellow Member and can use the Letter ‘FCMA’ after his/her name to indicate that he/she is a Fellow Member of the Institute.

Intermediate Students taking admission on or after 11th August 2020 and paid their full Course Fees are eligible for this mandatory ‘Skills Training’. However, students who have already paid partial payments (1st instalment) of fees will become eligible for ‘Skills Training’ after payment of full Course fees (Final instalment) of Intermediate Course
Yes. ‘Skills Training’ and associated assessment tests are mandatory to be eligible to appear in both/remaining group of CMA Intermediate Examinations. However,a student can appear in a single group (either first or second group and not the both/remaining group) of Intermediate Examinations without completing ‘Skills Training’ and associated assessment tests. However, Directorate of Studies recommends that the eligible students should start ‘Skills Training’ activities from the very beginning to their admission in the Intermediate Course.
No. There is no exemption scheme for ‘Skills Training’. Hence, it is mandatory.
⦁ ‘Skills Training’ modules are designed to be accessed as self E-Learning system to be completed in 140 hours comprising all modules.
⦁ However, Directorate of Studies (Training & Placement) will provide
additional 140 hours of ‘Skills Training’ sessions for all eligible Intermediate students with hands on training to be imparted through online mode only.
⦁ Certified trainers and domain experts across the Globe will be the mentor
of Online ‘Skills Training’ sessions.
⦁ Schedule of Online Live Skills Training sessions in convenient timing will
be announced in advance.
⦁ Online Link for the Skills Training Sessions will be activated 60 Minutes
before the scheduled time.
⦁ Eligible Intermediate students may be divided into batches conveniently.
⦁ All online sessions will be recorded and will be made available in the Skills
Training Portal for free access to the target students.

Standard system configuration with decent network is required. Students can access online classes and ‘Skills Training’ logins through laptop, desktop, tablet or mobile phone.
Attendance of the students in various sessions will be strictly monitored and recorded by DOS.
Access to Online Live Skills Training classes will be allowed for one term only. However, if students miss out online live skills training classes arranged for June term for some genuine reasons, they will get another opportunity in December term and students who miss out online live skills training classes arranged for December term, they will get another opportunity in June term.

Students will get at least 3 attempts to clear ‘Skills Training’ assessment test.
Yes. Students will get skills training completion certificates for each training modules viz. SAP Finance Power User, Microsoft Office, Cambridge University Press and E-Filing Certifications after successful completion ofthe assessment test of the said training modules.
The validity to access ‘Skills Training’ modules would be available for at least 10 months.
No. There is no additional cost involved in having access to World Class ‘Skills Training’ Modules embedded in the Intermediate Course Curriculum.

15 months [for every student having registered for the intermediate course on or after 11th February, 2020].
⦁ Every student having registered for the intermediate course on or after 11th February, 2020 shall be required to undergo practical training for a period of 15 months before the date of declaration of examination result of both or remaining group of final examination to the satisfaction of Council in any one or more of the organization(s) specified in ‘Appendix A’, and in areas as specified in ‘Appendix B’ for the recognition for training [UDIN is mandatory wherever applicable].
⦁ However, a student to become eligible to appear in the final examination must satisfy the criteria on such cut-off date as may be specified from time to time. The cut-off date for certification of Form T-5 shall be 31st August for appearing in December examination which shall specify completion of at least 10 months of training as on that date. The cut-off date for certification of Form T-5 shall be 28th/29th February for appearing in June examination which shall specify completion of at least 10 months of training as on that date.
CMA student can start the Practical Training immediately on registration the Course at the Intermediate Level.
⦁ CA/CS articled training/articleship will not be set off / entertained / not be recognized for CMA Practical Training.
⦁ If the firm of Chartered Accountants/ Company Secretaries has separate Management Consultancy Division and if the applicant has exclusively worked in that division, credence to such service is given on percentage basis depending on the nature of job related with cost/management accounting/ financial accounting/ taxation/ MIS or of similar nature, size of the firm, nature of duties handled by the applicant, size of the client companies etc.
