PRACTICAL TRAINING / ARTICLED TRAINING

Under the new scheme of Education & Training two years (2 years) of articleship training has been designed to strike a balance between theoretical education and practical training by the ICAI.

The unique requirement of practical training is instrumental in shaping a well-rounded professional to ensure that students have an opportunity to acquire on the job work experience of a professional nature. Such a practical training:

  • Develops necessary skills in applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
  • Inculcates a disciplined attitude for hard work.
  • Develops ethical values which is the basic quality for a professional.
  • Provides exposure to overall socio-economic environment in which organizations operate.

When to commence practical training?

After passing both the groups of Intermediate Examination and successfully completing Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS), you can commence Practical Training.

What is the duration of industrial training?

Industrial Training is for a period of 9 months to 12 months, permitted during the last part of 2 years Practical Training.
